Freez at startup

If phone freez at startup (or after some time) or if phone lost it's settings (f.e. settings reset to default values automatically, imei lost etc.) - it may be a result of damaged hardware. In most cases this situation take place if flash chip is partially damaged or bad solders. What to do (check phone after each step):

  • 1. make "format ffs" or "reset settings" with software
  • 2. check that phone has no water damage
  • 3. rehot/reball flash chip
  • 4. replace flash chip
